DONATIONS - we can't have an auction without them! We are fortunate to have a top-notch donation solicitation team led by Lisa Metcalfe and Laura Benoist.
We've listed some donation ideas below, as well as a list of past and prospective donors that we have already contacted.

Donations are not just merchandise and gift certificates! There are many creative ways you can apply your talents or create opportunities for others that you have in your day-to-day life.
Ideas from past auctions include:
- a photography session
- lessons! cooking, dance, sailing, beer making, etc.
- graphic design services (invitation, business card, logo)
- a stay at your weekend home
- tickets to sporting events, plays, Broadway shows, ballets, etc.
- architectural (or other professional service) consultation
- a helicopter or boat ride
- a custom designed birthday cake
- a behind-the-scenes experience

Even with the many generous donations we get, producing the auction costs money. So if you are not sure what to donate, but would like to contribute somehow, one option is to underwrite the various costs of putting on the event, such as:
DJ: $1000
Postage: $250
Flowers: $375
Paper Supplies: $350
Beverages: $850
Décor & merchandising materials: $575
Catering Staff: $1500
Renting tables & table clothes: $4000
Purchaing food from local establishments: $2000
IT & data entry: $500
Lighting for Club 234: $4900
